There are so many wondrous creators in and around the Calgary area. The canvas changes – skin, paper, and film. From tattooers, silkscreen printers, to photographers – the focus of this selection is capturing the perspective of the artist.
I have been incredibly fortunate to connect with these folks and attempt to gain a better understanding of their processes’.
A multitude of media has been created for Calgary’s favorite campus radio station – CJSW 90.9FM. A Funding Drive logo that sparked the aesthetic flare for CJSW’s 2020 Funding Drive, a plethora of Social Media graphics, as well as document layout and design.
The spirit of CJSW is celebrated through a variety of bold colours and graphic imagery.
This city has been my home since 2013. Within the last few years I’ve been getting to know Calgary more intimately. This journey has begun with film photography in early years, more recently, video has become my chosen media to explore this landscape.
This section brings the attention to the details that work together to make the character and charm of some of Calgary’s most popular neighbourhoods.
Prior to the cancellation of Sled Island in 2020, I served as their Design Assistant to create social media ads and other promotional materials. After the cancellation I was lucky to illustrate and design ‘The Lemonade Stand’ campaign, as well as the ‘Keep on Sleddin’ campaign.
Sled Island is a vital component of Calgary’s art and music scene, I’ve been incredibly lucky to participate and create promotional materials for them.
